This was his “struck by lightning” moment, by the way. If you even care.

you want to tell me that ted who an episode later said “it’s nice to be with who are excited to be around you” didn’t have a single gay thought here? not a single ‘ooh now this gave me butterflies’? yeah, out of character, not my ted lasso

This string of tweets is so deeply funny to me. Nick was really like well I don’t know shit but wouldn’t it be so goofy if I reblogged and stirred the pot just for kicks and giggles? And then a journalist had to reach out to confirm or deny. Funniest thing he could’ve done and my man did it.

remember romcommunism???? yeah actually that was about the world famous romantic trope of silently without a conversation going back to your ex wife who doesn’t like being around you so much so that you left the country.

Love that Roy’s sister was in a scene in a hospital in s2 without any attention being drawn to her after the detail that she was a doctor had already been given to us and then a full season later we find out she is, in fact, Roy’s mysterious sister.

There’s something about actors being casually used in various scenes/storylines that makes worlds feel really fleshed out. Like, of course Roy’s sister who works in a hospital was at the hospital when Ted and Sharon were. Of course she inhabits this town and goes about her business in ways that aren’t always connected to Roy’s storyline.
